How does your service work?



Here is how to go grocery shopping the easy way:


Step 1: Go shopping at (browse the aisles and add your wanted items to your cart)


Step 2: Checkout (input your shipping and billing information and the desired delivery date and time frame and if you have a prefered time, put that in the comments section, then put in the coupon code from below)


Step 3: Delivered (your delivery driver knocks on your door and hands you the groceries)




Does Sky Rise Foods deliver to my address?


Sky Rise Foods delivers to Vancouver, including the areas of: West Point Grey, Dunbar-Southlands, Kitsilano, Arbutus Ridge, Kerrisdale, Fairview, Shaughnessy, Oakridge, Marpole, Mount Pleasant, South Cambie, Riley Park-Little Mountain, Sunset, West End, Downtown, False Creek, Gas Town, Yaletown, Coal Harbour, China Town, Strathcona, UBC Area. We plan to expand even more soon, so keep your eyes open for us in your area.




Will you deliver to business addresses or catering companies?


Yes we would be happy to, as long as they are in our service area.  At this time our service area is all of Vancouver.  We plan to expand outwards soon, so keep your eyes open for us in your area.




Do I pay tax on all my groceries?


NO!  The government of Canada has left most food item tax exempt, so most of the items on our site are actually tax free.  With the exception of ready made foods, snack foods and liquor items.




Is there a delivery fee for grocery orders?


If you order over $40 worth of groceries, not including tax, we do NOT charge a delivery fee.  So delivery would be free.


If your groceries are under $40, we do, however, charge a delivery fee of $7.00.






Do I have to tip my delivery person?


No you do not have to tip your delivery person. However, if you feel you would like to tip, your delivery person would greatly appreciate your gratuity.




If an item I want isn't offered on your website, can I request it anyway?


If an item you would like to order is not offered, please let us know by emailing and requesting the specific item/items you would like to order.  We will do our best to add them as soon as possible.  Alternatively, if you would like to see if we can offer the item on your next day delivery, you can contact us by our live chat, or by phone at 604-558-FOOD (3663) and we will try our best to accommodate you.




What if an item in my order is unavailable?


We do our best to make sure that all our products are available. However, in the event that one of your items is out of stock, we will bring a similar item and let you know about it at the time of delivery. If you don't want the replacement, simply let us know and we will refund the full price of that item.




What if my delivery doesn't arrive in my preferred timeframe?


We strive to be punctual, but in the rare event our delivery driver is running late, we will contact you as soon as possible. If you do not hear from us, please give us a call at 604-558-FOOD (3663).




What if you forget an item in my order?


If something is missing from your delivery, please let us know by either live chat of call us at 604-558-FOOD 3663)  and we will bring it to you as soon as possible at a convenient time for yourself.




How long does it take to have my groceries delivered?


 We can deliver as soon as the next day, as long as you get your order in by 11:59pm the previous day. Or you can choose the best day / time for you to have the groceries delivered to your door (subject to availability).




Do I need to be at home when my groceries are delivered?


For your first order with us, you will need to be home for your delivery to show ID.  After your first delivery, we can deliver to your home without you there as long as we arrange a strategy to get the food into your home.  

Please Note: With alcohol purchases, you will need to be 19+ and home at the time of delivery to show 2 pieces of ID (1 photo ID).




Will I have to show ID?


For your first grocery order, we will ask you to provide a piece of photo ID that matches the purchasing credit card. After that, we will keep a record of it in our system.


If you order alcohol, you will need to provide us with 2 pieces of ID on each delivery.




How do I get a receipt for my order?


We will email you a receipt as soon as you place your order. As well, we will give you a printed copy when we arrive at the door with your delivery.  We do pride ourselves on being an environmentally friendly company, so if you would like to save the trees as well, just let us know in your comments at the end of the order that you do not require a print out of your receipt.




What if I need to change my delivery time or cancel my order?


Until the day before the scheduled delivery, you can change your order online. Or you can contact us via live chat or phone us at 604-558-FOOD(3663) and we will do our best to accommodate you.  If something does come up the same day, please let us know asap and we will try to arrange a different time to deliver your foods.  If you do cancel your order the same day, we will refund your total minus a 50% restocking fee.





Can you deliver my prescription?


Unfortunately, at this time, we are unable to pick up prescriptions for our customers.





Do we accept coupons?


Yes! If you have a valid coupon on a product we carry, we will gladly accept it.  What you have to do, is give it to your delivery driver, and he will bring it back to the office, and then we will send you a gift code with the eligible amount for you to use on your next purchase with Sky Rise Foods.




Is my information safe on your site?


Yes it is very safe.  We use the same level of encryption that any of the big name companies such as Apple, Sony and so on use.  We also have the seal of security at the bottom of our page so you always know that your information is safe on Sky Rise Foods.





What payment methods do you accept?


We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, paypal, american express, discovery and cash on delivery.
